The "Ainsair- Flxible" Clipper was the most advanced tourist and inter-city coach produced for the time in Australia. The body design being on American lines and the mechenical engeniering based on the use of the highest quality British components. The Leyland 7.4 litre diesel motor of the Clipper was scientifacally shock mounted as to give a minimum of vibration throught the vehicle.

Powered by a Leyland 7.4 Litre Diesel engine with torque rateing of 328 lb/ft at 1,150 rpm coupled to a Spicer Model 3541 4 speed Transmission. These Clippers would have no problem keeping up with todays highway speeds. Other engines that were also used in these models included Cummings, Duetz and General Motors Diesels.
